The Black Book of Maidan

Dutch premiere

When the protests in Kiev (Ukraine) erupted, thirteen second-year students from the National Karpenko-Kary University of Theatre, Cinema and Television took their cameras to the street. At Maidan Square, they found their protagonists. They filmed and edited as the protests went on. Mixing genres like reportage, sound-bite and portrait, they captured the human stories forming the history of Ukrainian revolution.
