Ada For Mayor

Dutch premiere

Ada For Mayor follows Ada Colau's one year journey from being an anti-eviction activist to becoming the first female mayor of Barcelona. The intimate chronicle features Colau’s own video diary and gives the viewer access to the inner-workings of a new citizen platform. The film documents a historic victory illustrative of the political changes taking place in southern Europe, and the inner struggle of someone who fears becoming what she has so often criticized.
